Frederick Lewis Donaldson while delivering a sermon in Westminster Abbey, London on March 20, 1925 said there are seven social sins and the very first of them is wealth without work. This implies that Frederick believes work brings about wealth. Others on the list are; pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, worship without sacrifice, and politics without principle. Another definition of work can be drawn from Barak Obama, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen, if you go out and make good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.
