Why QWERTY are the first letters on modern keyboard

Christopher Latham Shole invented the QWERTY keyboard arrangement, making it the first letters in modern keyboards. Prior to the 1870s when Shole changed the keyboard arrangement, letters on the keyboard were arranged in alphabetical order. Currently, the alphabet starts with QWERTY on a typewriter, computer keyboard and obviously on smart phones keyboard
